主动表被动

I sent you 100 dollars today,the rest ____ in a year.

答案给的to follow，请问为何不需要to be followed ？是否由于可以成I will follow the rest 这样的情况？

这里没有什么主动表被动。follow在此为不及物动词，意为come or go after.  即其余的钱一年后会到你手里。这是独立主格结构作状语，假如改为并列句则为，and the rest is to follow in a year. 即目前安排的以后事件。
